This story is in addition to not really a part of his previous books. ENJOYBlade and Flame (Prequel to The Kobalos Trilogy) OverviewExiles have broken free from the Prisonlands with the help of a dark mage, and it is the job of the border wardens to retrieve the escapees. Leading the group of hunters is Kuthius Tallerus, uncle to Lucius Tallerus, the scout for the wardens. This short story of 11,000 words is a prequel to The Kobalos Trilogy. Its events happen a year before the those of the trilogy. WORD of WARNING: There are SPOILERS to be found here for those who have not read City of Rogues: Book I of The Kobalos Trilogy.
