Dead Man's Blade (Black Sins) ReviewIf you don't mind getting no sleep for the days it will take you to read this book, then I would tell you to pick it up right now. Dead Man's Blade: Black Sins is, as you have probably guessed, very difficult to put down. The constant suspense and action will keep you turning the pages, eager to learn more about the twisted characters. Even though Dead Man's Blade is based on the dark, supernatural world of demons and devils, the realistic characteristics that author Andrew Larson weaves into the plot are impossible to deny. Although the main character, Frank Black, comes off initially as an impenetrable tough guy, his entirely human emotions often show through as he discovers secrets of a world beyond his imagination. While reading this book, I often found myself more than a little creeped out by the brilliantly raw display of fear, hatred and possesion by Larson through Frank. The detailed descritions put the reader in the various stressful positions that the characters find themselves in and allow the reader a look into the character's dark minds. Gripping and terrifying, Larson's Dead Man's Blade: Black Sins will keep you awake at night, wondering if the world you live in is really all that it seems.Dead Man's Blade (Black Sins) OverviewFrank Black thinks he has problems. He's an ex-military, ex-cop, ex-alcoholic, ex-husband, and possibly ex-criminal who's out of money and sinking fast. Frank can't even find a job until the mob hires him to find a thief - "just bring him in." they tell Frank, "by Sunday." Frank's problems get a little worse when the thief jumps town.Maria Garcia is a woman who can help Frank... for a price. She just wants a little bit of his humanity, just a piece of his soul. Maria leads Frank deeper and deeper into her web. Frank thought he had problems before, but now that he's working for a devil he knows what real problems are.Warning - Mature content.Want to learn more information about Dead Man's Blade (Black Sins)?
