This book satisfies both of my interests. It shows Shirow's awesome illustrations and creative animation for developing characters. Plus, it shows a step by step account of how he has used the computer to create them. Starting out as a traditional painter, he started experimenting on the computer and has developed some awesome techinques for combining the two mediums.
